Our services include prenatal genetic counseling, genetic counseling for diagnosed syndromes, medical genetics team evaluations, and genetic diagnostic laboratory testing. Our program serves as the main genetics referral for a population of 7 million residents, of whom 1.5 million are in the pediatric age range. Multiple opportunities exist within our program for specialty interests. The Women’s and Children’s Pavilion will open in 2021, which will expand the Fetal Care Program. Metabolic experience is welcomed, as our clinic features an active Lysosomal Disease Treatment Center and serves as the primary medical consultants for the Arizona State Newborn Screening Program. We participate in multi-specialty care teams, including the 22q clinic, skeletal dysplasia clinic, neurofibromatosis, and upcoming programs for Marfan syndrome and cardiogenetics. Our Genetics staff includes 5 physicians, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 5 Genetic Counselors, 2 Dietitians, a Clinic Coordinator, Research Coordinator, and additional support staff. Physician - Hematopathology

Posting Note: Phoenix Children’s Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Hematopathologist to join the professional staff of the Division of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. The Pediatric Hematopathologist must be board-certified or board-eligible in Hematopathology. The hematopathologist will join a growing diagnostic service with two other staff hematopathologists. The case mix currently includes approximately 750 peripheral blood smears, 550 bone marrow studies, 100 lymph node evaluations, and 400 flow cytometric immunophenotyping studies annually. Staff Physician - Pediatric Allergy/Immunology

Posting Note: The Allergy and Immunology Clinic at Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking an Allergist/Immunologist to join our team of professionals. The candidate will join 3 other providers (2 physicians and a physician assistant) at Phoenix Children's Hospital and its satellites. With the sizable population of Phoenix, Arizona, the practice is busy and growing. The patient population is varied, ranging from common allergic disorders to complex cases in both allergy and primary immunodeficiency. Our providers participate in several multi-disciplinary clinics (eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders, atopic dermatitis, primary immunodeficiency), allowing for coordination of care with other specialists. Education is an important aspect of the position as the clinic participates in training rotating pediatric residents. Also, Phoenix Children's Hospital has partnered with Mayo Clinic Arizona for a combined Allergy/Immunology fellowship. Physicians have academic faculty appointments through the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine. Finally, the clinic is actively involved in clinical and translational research in food allergy, eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders, and asthma. Prospective candidates should have an interest in participating in research efforts.
