The Supervisor, ED Patient Access works under the direction of the Manager and is responsible for the oversight of 24/7 activities of the Emergency Department Registration function. This position maintains appropriate staffing levels based on historical volume analysis and clinical needs, monitors daily productivity and registration quality, reallocates duties, as needed, to assure timely completion of registrations and admissions, and works with the clinical ED staff and leadership to ensure smooth patient flow and throughput.
