This 24-bed pediatric inpatient unit will initially care for a primarily Med Surg and a lower acuity PICU patient population, with opportunities to support higher-acuity patients as the campus grows. We're seeking experienced inpatient RNs (at least 1 year) who are passionate about pediatric care, adaptable to a dynamic environment, and excited to help build a new team and culture from the ground up. Peds experience preferred, Must have a BLS and an active RN license in good standing. Nurses will receive extensive training and cross-training in acute care, step-down, and critical care concepts while supporting the future growth of pediatric services in the East Valley. Multiple FTE options are available, including .5, .6, .75, and .9 positions. All new hires will complete training at our Thomas Campus prior to transitioning to the East Valley location. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with demonstrated experience supervising Respiratory Therapists, managing day-to-day operations, and supporting high-acuity pediatric patient populations. The selected candidate will initially support operations and training at the Thomas Campus while helping prepare for the East Valley opening.
