Posting Note: Phoenix Children's is hiring a Clinical Supervisor to manage the East Valley and the Cadence Urgent Care's. Incumbent will be scheduled to work M - F, 11 AM - 7 PM to be available over both day and evening shift coverage, schedule is nonnegotiable. Will also be required to be on call on alternating weekends to provide coverage for lead nurse. You will manage a staff of approximately 100 employees, that will include RN's, Medical Assistant’s, and Patient Care Tech's. Incumbent will be one of two clinical supervisors who will report to the Urgent Care Manager. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience as a nurse. Must obtain CPN within one year of hire. Bachelor of Science in nursing, and experience in pediatrics is preferred.
The Clinical Supervisor coordinates shift operational flow in conjunction with organizational and departmental strategic goals, objectives, and standards and is the hospital’s clinical representative/resource for patients, families, and the healthcare team, at both the unit and organization levels. This position provides clinical leadership of patient care services and directs supervision of nursing and support staff to ensure consistent provision of developmentally appropriate quality patient care in accordance with all applicable federal, regulatory, professional standards and requirements. Provides clinical leadership with accountability in promoting quality patient care and an engaging work environment, during assigned shift.

Medical Assistant - Hematology Oncology Mesa

This role works under the direction of a licensed health care professional and performs various clinical and administrative tasks for the assigned area. The Medical Assistant is expected to carry out the mission, vision, and values of Phoenix Children’s Hospital. A continuous exhibition of professionalism, strong ethical conduct, and integrity must be carried out at all times. Interdepartmental collaboration, high standards of work performance, keeping a positive attitude and adhering to the policies and procedures of Phoenix Children’s Hospital is essential. This position requires current and continuous certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA) or American Medical Technologists (RMA) in the field of Medical Assisting or the ability to acquire within 90 days of hire. Anyone hired prior to 11/30/2021 has one year from their date of hire to obtain their required Medical Assistant Certification.
