Medical Assistant-PRN- Urgent Care Centers-Mesa/Glendale/Scottsdale/Avondale

Posting Note: This MA position is located at our Mesa Urgent Care Center at 5131 E. Southern Ave., Mesa, AZ. The ideal candidate would also be willing to provide occasional assistance at our Glendale, Scottsdale, and Avondale urgent care locations. The position provides clinical assistance to the nursing and provider staff. Schedule: 5:00 p.m. -11:00 p.m. M-F and 12:00 p.m. -11:00 p.m Sat-Sun. You must complete a minimum of 18 hours/six weeks schedule. There is a holiday and on-call requirement. Locations: Primary location at Mesa Urgent Care Center. May be asked to float to Glendale, Scottsdale, or Avondale. Requirements: Medical Assistant Diploma and an RMA or CMA certification OR Medical Assistant Diploma and 5 or more years of work experience (will waive the certification) Previous experience working with children at least 12 months and flexibility to work at the different Urgent locations on weekdays and weekends.

The Certified Medical Assistant is expected to carry out the mission, vision, and values of Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
