Position Summary
Posting Note: Seeking local candidates. Position is mainly remote but would require some in person office time.
This position designs, configures, supports, and maintains vendor supplied software and integrated computer data systems, either independently or as a team member. Core responsibilities include developing custom and standard reports for Supply Chain using third party reporting software tools. Additionally, integration of software across multiple businesses and support systems especially ERP and inventory management systems. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for production systems within the Enterprise Finance, Human Resource, and Supply Chain Cycle.
Position Duties

Acts as a liaison with operations community to ensure continuing responsiveness of applicable system software.
Gathers business requirements. Ensures the maintenance of adequate software systems documentation. Provides technical assistance and training to users of systems, with little or no instruction or mentoring. -
Complies with and contributes to system configuration and system change control standards and guidelines.

Maintains status of tasks, defects, and issues and supports requests daily in each respective tool.

With general guidance, designs and implements medium complexity system solutions across multiple departments and serves in key technical roles throughout the vendor-supplied software lifecycle.

May be required to come on campus during off-shift hours and provide after-hours call support.

Configures and unit tests the system as specified in the business and technical requirements to meet configuration exit criteria according to schedule.

Identifies system constraints or gaps in business requirements and effectively communicates issues/risks to the appropriate leader in a timely manner.

Translates business requirements into technical design and maintains comprehensive technical documentation.

Works collaboratively with vendors and colleagues to analyze problems and propose recommended solutions that meet both business and technical needs.

Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
