The Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) Specialist I is a mid-level position for intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM). The IONM Specialist I performs IONM procedures appropriate to their competence, including test setup, electrode application, maintaining patient safety, and other related duties. Strong, well-developed communication skills, and teamwork are essential for this position. During IONM procedures for which competence has not been achieved, the IONM Specialist I trains under direct technical supervision. Once training is completed and all required institution competencies have been achieved, the IONM Specialist I works under indirect technical supervision.

The Neurodiagnostic Tech Intern is an entry-level position in the Neurodiagnostic department. The Neuro Tech Intern performs EEG and Neurodiagnostic procedures according to PCH policy and procedural guidelines and maintains patient safety during clinical events. Communication skills are essential for this position. The Neuro Tech Intern trains under direct technical supervision while performing EEG and Neurodiagnostic procedures for which competence has not been achieved, and perform studies independently upon demonstration of competencies for performing EEG procedures and related skills.
This position performs Nuclear Medicine, PET and SPECT examinations to provide data for diagnosis of diseases in addition to performing therapeutic treatments in accordance with all applicable standards, regulations, and licensing requirements. Under the direction of the department lead and manager, must be proficient in examinations, patient care, chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer technology and apply these skills in daily job performance. Also coordinates and participates in various research ventures.
