Position Summary

The PCMG Services Coordinator, under the direction of department leadership, is responsible for performing a variety of specialized function-related administrative and operational tasks to support the oversight, development, and coordination of various events as they relate to grants, divisional and/or academic programs.

Position Duties

  • Develops all structural components of events including, but not limited to, budgeting, contracting, registration, vendor support, continuing medical education application and compliance, financial reconciliation, website maintenance, marketing and communications coordination, and onsite support during event.
  • Prepares necessary materials before, during and after each meeting. Prepares meeting agendas, performs necessary follow-up actions, initiates reminders and transcribes and distributes meeting and presentation minutes to various internal and external audiences, committees and boards to ensure thorough preparation, organization, and documentation of activities and outcomes.
  • Anticipates problems, critical issues and opportunities and facilitates appropriate solutions, working collaboratively with interdependent stakeholders. Provides suggestions for new methods of working for improved effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Arranges and schedules a variety of meetings and initiates and responds to requests.
  • Coordinates community outreach initiatives for programs requiring extensive coordination and project management between multiple organizations.
  • Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
