Position Summary

Posting Note: This is a Hybrid position. Must have superior Excel Skills. Hospital experience is preferred.

This position provides Compensation consultation to Human Resources Division Directors and leadership teams throughout Phoenix Children's. In addition, this position provides analysis of various compensation issues to enable appropriate decision-making. Responsibilities also include assisting with the development of job descriptions and overseeing the administration of job descriptions. This position conducts a variety of compensation surveys to include analysis and identification of trends, and participates in the development and maintenance of Phoenix Children's salary administration policies and compensation plans.

Position Duties

  • Provides guidance and recommendations to leadership and HR Divisional Directors on pay decisions, policies, and guideline interpretation, including the design of creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs.
  • Monitors internal equity and application of compensation policies and practices. Conducts benchmark surveys annually and as needed; evaluates and recommends job grade assignment consistent with current market data.
  • In collaboration with HR Division Directors, provides guidance and support to leadership with job description development, evaluation, and maintenance.
  • Creates and maintains job codes, salary grades, position control and FLSA status for all positions. Reviews compensation-related Personnel Action Forms and hire-in rates to ensure accurate compensation administration.
  • Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.

Position Qualifications
