Position Summary

The Badging Administrator is responsible for managing personnel access across all locations and ensuring secure and efficient operations of the organization's badging and access control systems. This role involves creating and issuing badges, assigning proper access rights based on job roles and department needs, and maintaining accurate access control records.

Position Duties

  • Create badges, assign, and manage proper access rights for personnel based on job title and department.
  • Name and add new readers to appropriate access codes and reader groups, while also managing access codes, reader groups, and permissions.
  • Coordinate with management to complete access rights changes at individual and departmental levels, manage time codes and holiday schedules at all locations, and monitor the badge interface online report daily to resolve flagged issues.
  • Approve, issue, and track parking permits across all locations for restricted parking areas, while also researching and generating badge activity reports as requested by management and approved by HR.<br />•&nbsp;Trauma requires a standing weekly report.<br />•&nbsp;Food Services requires a standing monthly report.
  • Coordinate with IT, Facilities, PDC, and vendors on projects involving reader additions/removals and access control system downtimes, while also overseeing integrations between AMAG and auxiliary systems such as Lawson, Kronos, FreedomPay, Single Sign-On, Gift Shop, and ScrubEx.
  • Verify vendor badging authorization via the vendor management system and track, analyze, and report on badge issuance trends to support organizational security and access control improvements.
  • Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
