Position Summary
The Manager of Financial Planning is responsible for overseeing the annual operating budget, monthly forecasts, and long-range financial plan for the entire pediatric health system. This position leads a team of financial analysts that are responsible for ensuring the integrity and optimization of financial planning systems.
Position Duties

Planning & Forecasting
• Leads the development of the annual operating budget, monthly forecasts, and strategic long range financial plan.
• Collaborates with operational and regional finance teams to gather inputs and align financial plans with strategic goals.
• Monitors performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions. -
Financial Systems & Configuration
• Maintains and optimizes financial planning systems and budget configuration tools.
• Ensures data integrity and consistency across platforms used for budgeting and forecasting.
• Partners with IT, Accounting, and other finance teams to implement upgrades and enhancements. -
Team Leadership
• Manages and mentors a team of financial analysts, fostering professional growth and high performance.
• Delegates responsibilities effectively and ensure timely delivery of financial reports and analyses. -
Strategic Support
• Supports strategic initiatives with financial modeling and scenario analysis. -
Executive Reporting & Presentation
• Prepares and presents annual operating budget, financial plans, and forecasts to senior leadership.
• Translates complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders. -
Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
