Position Summary
The IT Clinical Optimization Analyst II facilitates, communicates, and coordinates the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of various clinical systems in a healthcare environment. Serving as an experienced resource, this role establishes and fosters connections with end users to ensure effective utilization of the clinical systems. This position assesses and refines workflow processes, supports proactive rounding within departments, shadows end users, provides elbow support, and attends orientations to assist with new hire setup.
Position Duties

Supports the optimization of various clinical systems.
a. Designs, tests, and implements clinical applications.
b. Develops/documents current and future state workflows when applicable.
c. Participates in after-hour call rotations.
d. Troubleshoots, solves, and documents incidents using the hospital ticketing system.
e. Consistently produces quality work that is accurate, complete, and detailed.
f. Prepares support documentation, test plans, specification documents, and basic to moderate workflow diagrams.
g. Independently manages low to moderate complexity projects from beginning to end.
h. Provides support for low to moderate complexity incidents, requests, and projects.
i. Creates and/or helps provide training content for users. -
