Position Summary
The Audiology Assistant supports licensed audiologists in delivering high-quality hearing healthcare services to patients. This role assists with patient preparation, patient rooming, audiology evaluations, charting of results, hearing aid maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs under the supervision of an audiologist. This position also handles inventory management for hearing aids, and related supplies, and ensuring equipment is properly calibrated and stocked. The ideal candidate brings strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach to support a positive clinical experience. This role requires close collaboration with clinical staff to ensure seamless care coordination and compliance with applicable healthcare regulations.
Position Duties

Cleans treatment area and equipment for use at the beginning of the day and between patients. Escorts patients and to and from audiology area.

Performs biologic testing with all audiometer transducers, tympanometer and OAE. Inform audiologist of any malfunction. Ensure all necessary testing supplies are available for treatment. Inform audiologist if the supply is low.

Assist audiologist in patient treatment including documentation, chart review, and evaluation as needed.

Educate patients on proper use and care of auditory devices.

Track equipment and supply orders to ensure timely availability

Provide technical support to patients with device questions

Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
