Clinical Pharmacist Specialist Solid Organ Transplant

This is an advanced level clinical specialist position responsible for the provision of departmental and organizational clinical pharmacy services and leadership for Solid Organ Transplant. This position provides comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to patients from neonate to adulthood while performing the duties of a registered pharmacist as defined by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy and Phoenix Childrens Hospital. This position reports directly to the Manager of Clinical Pharmacy Services for hiring, termination, clinical practice direction and annual evaluation. The position receives operations direction and supervision from the Sr. Manager of Pharmacy Services and is professionally accountable to the Chief of Pharmacy Services.

Pharmacy Intern

Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist this position oversees the daily activities of the medication use process and provides comprehensive Pharmacy services to patients from neonate to young adulthood. Performs the duties of a registered pharmacist or graduate intern as defined by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy Administrative Code º R4-23-402-407 and Phoenix Children's Hospital.

Pharmacy Technician

This position, under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, assists in the procurement, storage, preparation, distribution, and delivery of medications and information and other pharmaceutical products to Phoenix Children’s patients in a timely and accurate fashion and in accordance with established regulations and procedures. This position receives direct supervision from a Registered Pharmacist and reports directly to the Operations Manager, Pharmacy.
