Posting Note: In this position, the Lead Patient Access Rep will have at least 2 years of patient registration experience within a medical setting (highly preferred) and will work closely with Supervisors in a fast-paced, high-volume environment in our emergency department, located on 20th St and Thomas Rd in Phoenix. There will be a requirement to work rotating weekends and holidays to support the 24/7 operations of the emergency department.
The Lead Patient Access Representative performs efficient and orderly registration of all patients. Acts as a primary liaison for patients receiving professional and hospital services at Phoenix Children's Hospital. Serves in an area specific leadership role. Facilitates communication of operation policies and procedures to Patient Access Representatives.

Posting Note: This position will be based out of our Prior Authorization/Financial Clearance team. We are seeking a dynamic, team player to join our team as a PRN (as needed) Patient Access representative. There is a minimum requirement to sign up for 2 shifts per week (dependent on department needs/volumes) to include weekday, or weekends if needed.
The Pre Access Specialist I is responsible for accurate and complete insurance verification, authorization, and complete pre-registration of all scheduled clinic visits and office based procedures. The position works within the EMR using an automated insurance verification tool along with payer websites and documents within the EMR.

Posting Note: The ED Patient Access Supervisor will work 11:00AM - 9:30PM (4, 10 hour shifts), rotating weekends and holidays to support the 24/7 operations of the department. The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the ED Patient Access department, ensuring that patients are registered, verified, and admitted in a timely and accurate manner. The supervisor also provides guidance, support, and feedback to the staff, and handles any issues or escalations that may arise. Shift differential applies!
The Supervisor, ED Patient Access works under the direction of the Manager and is responsible for the oversight of 24/7 activities of the Emergency Department Registration function. This position maintains appropriate staffing levels based on historical volume analysis and clinical needs, monitors daily productivity and registration quality, reallocates duties, as needed, to assure timely completion of registrations and admissions, and works with the clinical ED staff and leadership to ensure smooth patient flow and throughput.
