Communications Center Agent

Posting Note: Part Time – Varied shifts/days

This position is the 24/7 physician answering service and operator for Phoenix Children’s Hospital, this critical service connects both internal and external callers with providers by following electronic schedules and protocol for a given scenario. Triage code and emergency calls, including internal 911 calls, then notify the appropriate responders using various technologies such as phone, SMS, secure message, and public address systems. Additionally, this position provides routine information by phone and electronic chat, hospital directory assistance, transfers calls to the appropriate location, provides basic after-hour help desk support, and dispatches patient transport requests.

Guest Services Associate

Posting Note: *PRN Position - Weekends only, 10 hour shift, starting at 9:30 AM

The Guest Services Associate assists patient families and visitors by offering detailed, tailored information for an exceptional patient experience. With their service expertise and extensive knowledge of Phoenix Children's and the Phoenix area Guest Services Associates will ensure that patient family and visitor experiences exceed their expectations. This position connects guests with appointments, services in clinical and non-clinical areas and visitation while adhering to access policies and processes and provides navigational assistance to destinations. Coordinates services for patients requiring special needs accommodations for positive clinical outcomes. Responsible for effectively organizing, assembling and arranging resources to address patient family and visitor inquiries. Professionally interfaces and collaborates with all departments and across multiple locations.

Patient Transport

Posting Note: PRN Position - PRN’s must work a minimum of four 10 hour shifts per 6-week scheduling period. Must work a minimum of 2 major holidays including the extended holiday (Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, Friday after Thanksgiving)

This position transports patients to and from various areas of the hospital in accordance with established policies, procedures, safety practices and customer care standards.
