Posting Note: Phoenix Children’s is seeking a skilled and collaborative Magnet Program Manager to lead the organization’s journey toward ANCC Magnet® designation. This position provides guidance and coordination of all activities related to achieving and sustaining Magnet designation—advancing nursing excellence and professional practice across the system. The Magnet Program Manager will oversee the Magnet gap analysis, coordinate interdisciplinary teams, manage the application and document submission process, and promote nursing engagement through professional governance, education, and recognition initiatives. This leader partners closely with nursing leadership and the Chief Nursing Executive to align Magnet standards with organizational goals and outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the Magnet gap analysis and readiness plan • Manage the Magnet application, documentation, and site visit process • Coordinate Magnet Steering Committee and work teams • Foster engagement in professional governance and nursing excellence initiatives • Promote a culture of evidence-based practice, quality outcomes, and shared decision-making
The Magnet Program Manager supports the organization’s efforts to achieve and maintain American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program designation. This position is responsible for coordinating Magnet documentation, facilitating data collection, and assisting with activities that promote nursing excellence, professional development, and professional governance. The program manager collaborates with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with Magnet standards and fosters a culture of evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
