Posting Note: Are you a nurse who thrives on providing patient education? Do you love teaching families how to care for their children? This position is in our outpatient clinic, and working with our providers and families. The position does require Ostomy experience, and you must receive your WOCN certification within the first year of being in this role. It is a full time, 40 hours a week, NO weekends or HOLIDAYS!!! Scheduling can be flexible if you are interested in working a 4/10 schedule.
This position works in collaboration with the Wound Care and/or Surgery Team including Surgeons, Physicians, Advanced Practitioner Providers, Licensed Independent Practitioner healthcare team, patient, and their family to promote patient care for skin, wound care, and ostomy management through delivery of professional nursing care appropriate to patient’s age and condition in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards and hospital goals, values and regulatory standards.
