Position Summary
The Ld Supply Chain Associate takes a lead role in executing supply chainwork including receiving, inventory control, supply ordering, stocking & replenishment, and clinical equipment cleaning for all clinical and non-clinical areas of the Hospital, ensuring smooth operations. This position is required to have functional knowledge of all supply chain job areas of responsibility. This role will lead continuous improvement projects and other major supply chain initiatives under supervision and will train new and current employees in Phoenix Children's supply chain processes. This position will work with the department Supervisor to manage schedules, monitor supplies, and address issues by analyzing data, finding solutions, and communicating with all stakeholders. This role must be capable of assuming Supervisor duties in their absence, and they will build positive relationships within the supply chain team and throughout the facility, placing an emphasis on customer service.
Position Duties

Guides and supports supply chain team in the daily execution of work to ensure uninterrupted supply availability, and effective completion of tasks, including receiving, inventory control, supply ordering, stocking & replenishment, and clinical equipment cleaning in accordance with established processes.

Assists the department Supervisor in managing the daily schedule, recommending adjustments where needed for daily priorities and staffing challenges. Monitors and assigns daily routine tasks of the team and escalates issues as needed. Works with department Supervisor to develop tools that can be used to assess supply, capacity, and inventory issues and opportunities quickly and accurately.

Embraces Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), by tracking trends and best practices through root cause analysis and assessment and audits of KPI’s.

Ensures communication and consistent workflow in and between the supply chain departments by identifying information gaps and providing resolution to build a culture of cooperations and trust.

Under supervision, leads continuous improvement and other major projects to drive expanded capabilities and improve the efficiency of existing processes.

Assumes responsibility for training new and existing employees on all job functions and responsibilities.

Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
