Position Overview
The Business Operations Coordinator – PCCN supports the strategic success of Phoenix Children’s Care Network’s Clinically Integrated Network by coordinating and executing operational activities that drive efficiency, quality, and compliance. Reporting to the Manager, Network Operations, this role serves as a cross-functional partner, working closely with operations, clinical, quality, and technology teams to advance key network priorities.
Key responsibilities include data entry and validation, compliance tracking, stakeholder engagement, and operational support for initiatives aligned with PCCN’s strategic goals. The Coordinator also plays a role in developing and implementing new projects, ensuring initiatives are executed smoothly and effectively to support the network’s overall mission.

What You’ll Do
• Coordinate operational projects and deliverables within PCCN.
• Manage and validate data in MyPCCN and related systems.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and summaries to support compliance and URAC accreditation.
• Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external partners (payers, provider offices, vendors).
• Track project timelines, documentation, and communication updates.
• Support process improvements to streamline operations and increase quality.

Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business or healthcare operations.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and data management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication.
• Ability to collaborate and manage multiple priorities in a hybrid environment.
Preferred:
• Power BI or Tableau experience.
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance, URAC, or value-based care.
• Experience in process improvement or Lean methodologies.
• Master’s degree in a related field (a plus).

Position Duties

Coordinates and supports operational projects
1. Participates in project creation and development, ensuring timelines and goals are supported.
2. Provides data entry, data validation, and documentation to maintain project accuracy and consistency.
3. Anticipates risks and escalates issues appropriately. -
Coordinates and supports operational projects
1. Coordinates documentation and processes that support departmental functions, such as payer, contract messengering, operational, and practice coordination deliverables.
2. Maintains records with accuracy through data entry and validation, including but not limited to key operational artifact within PCCN’s MyPCCN application.
3. Provides tracking and summaries of operational metrics, collaborating with other departments when deeper analysis is required. -
Serves as primary liaison for stakeholders
1. Acts as a central point of contact for internal teams, payers, and some external partners.
2. Builds and maintains strong relationships to support collaboration and problem-solving.
3. Supports vendor relationships, payer communications, provider communications and clinic coordination.
4. Troubleshoots operational issues and escalates as needed. -
Manages communication and reporting
1. Prepares presentations, updates, and project summaries.
2. Coordinates stakeholder communication schedules and ensures clear messaging of deliverables and timelines.
3. May develops project materials such as meeting notes, tracking tools, and summary documents, when applicable. -
Supports compliance, quality, and accreditation efforts
1. Assists with quality improvement initiatives by coordinating documentation and deliverables.
2. Helps track progress toward goals in collaboration with quality and clinical teams.
3. Provides support for compliance tracking, audits, and regulatory reporting tied to URAC accreditation and other network obligations. -
Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
