Position Details
Position Summary
The Program Manager will support many of the Clinical Research programs. Duties are carried out under the direction of the Manager, Clinical Research or Manager, Clinical Research Operations, Division Chiefs, and Principal Investigators.
Position Duties

Provides project-related leadership and ensures adherence to protocols, standard operating procedures, and applicable federal, state and accreditation regulations. Supports the Program mission, goals, and organizational activities. Leads evaluation efforts and provides key input on outcome measurements.
1. Create policies and procedures and designs specific tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in completing clinical and research tasks.
2. Appropriately maintains records, policies, procedures, and clinical research instrument documentation in accordance with regulations and policies.
3. Provides regulatory oversight and manages regulatory affairs for designated projects/programs to ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and institutional policies. -
Manages the development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of assigned projects.
1. Ensures study activities are completed in compliance with protocol or standard operating procedures and that study staff have the appropriate training and certification.
2. Conducts quality assurance reviews for regulatory and subject files to ensure adherence to regulations and protocol requirements.
3. Provides input and manages evaluation activities, including providing guidance on evaluation questions and outcome measurements.
4. Will work closely with the PI to effectively meet study objectives in a timely manner. -
Coordinates budgets and funding, drives program development and growth.
1. Works closely with Grants & Contracts Administration to ensure appropriate coverage analysis and budget development for assigned projects/programs. -
Coordinates schedules and provides oversight to employees within the designated program/project areas.
1. Oversees data and specimen collection.
2. Oversees and trains other study personnel.
3. Monitors time cards and schedules (as appropriate).
4. Provides input into performance reviews and evaluation of research personnel. -
Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
