Position Summary
Posting Note: We are looking for a creative, talented and effective copywriter to join our marketing and communications team. The person will deliver high quality content primarily for our events and corporate partner fundraising campaigns, as well as a variety of collateral and assets across all marketing channels. As an integral member of the Phoenix Children’s Foundation, responsibilities will include conducting research, interviewing, generating ideas, writing and proofreading. Seeking someone who specifically has experience working for brands with a keen eye for detail, a positive can-do attitude and team player. Experience in a non-profit or healthcare organization is a plus.

Position Duties
• Content Creation & Strategy: Write compelling and high-quality content tailored to a variety of audiences, with a focus on corporate partners, event attendees and donors. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure content aligns with brand voice, campaign strategy and philanthropic goals.
• Project & Campaign Support: Serve as a key copywriting resource for marketing campaigns, events, donor stewardship pieces, collateral and web content primarily for the corporate partners and events. Ensure consistency and clarity across all materials and channels.
• Research & Story Development: Conduct interviews, gather insights and develop content that tells meaningful stories of impact, generosity and hope. Collaborate with clinicians, donors and families to craft authentic narratives.
• Editing & Proofreading: Review and refine copy for accuracy, grammar, tone and alignment with style guidelines. Provide editorial support to team members as needed.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing directors, designers, digital team members and foundation partners to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels and platforms.
• Content Management: Maintain and update content within CMS platforms and internal content libraries, ensuring information is accurate, current, and easily accessible to fundraisers and stakeholders.
• Brand Stewardship: Uphold and enhance the Phoenix Children’s Foundation voice and tone across all written materials, helping to strengthen emotional connection and brand recognition.
Working in close collaboration with leadership, Specialist III develops and implements many aspects of multiple programs that align with hospital’s mission and support the Foundation’s goals. Working independently, the Specialist III may be in charge of overseeing program/project execution that could include staffing, volunteers, budget and fundraising goals from start to finish. This position may also be responsible for special events that publicize the organization and its programs to the community. Position may have direct and/or indirect oversight of lower-level staff members and/or volunteers.
Position Duties

Program Development: Assists in the development of fully-fledged programs complete with policies, procedures and techniques.

Allocate Resources: Allocates a specific amount of resources for each program while avoiding the depletion of resources as well as the degradation of quality.

Staff Oversight: Responsible for training, assisting and collaborating with staff members who are involved in one or more programs. Indirect and/or direct supervision must facilitate communication, aid organization, coordinate objectives and ensure that standards are met.

Manage Budgets: Creates and analyzes budgets for each program in order to minimize unnecessary expenditures, including complex budgetary planning and forecasting.

Process Documentation: Manages the tracking of deliverables, monitoring progress and translating data towards future growth projections.

Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
