Position Summary

Posting Note: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role will play a key part in supporting a variety of marketing initiatives for the Corporate & Events division, including corporate donors CSR partnerships, strategic sponsorship management, event marketing, and donor engagement. The Senior Marketing Specialist will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to help drive the success of key corporate and event campaigns and fundraising activities. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, managing relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external), and ensuring the successful implementation of marketing plans for various events and partner campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
Corporate & Events Division Support:
• Create sponsorship packets and recaps for key events and campaigns.
• Oversee the production of Year-over-Year Point-of-Sale (POS) materials.
• Manage paid and in-kind advertising budgets, ensuring they are allocated efficiently and effectively and tracking performance and values. Support creative team for production needs and execution.
• Provide broad marketing support for corporate and events initiatives, offering strategic guidance and project management oversight.
• Participate in regular marketing meetings with leadership and maintain ongoing communication with the VP.
• Ensure the smooth execution of marketing projects, meeting deadlines, applicable brand standards and high-quality standards.
Full Strategy/Relationship Support:
• Lead the creation of marketing strategies for a range of signature events and campaigns.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to shape event programs and provide marketing insights.
• Oversee the execution of event-related marketing efforts, ensuring they align with the organization’s overall goals.
Production Support:
• Assist in the planning and marketing of various events, ensuring alignment with broader marketing and fundraising strategies.
• Work closely with event teams to provide effective marketing support for event success.
Growth Strategy:
• Develop and implement growth strategies for acquiring top-tier prospects and maximizing partnership opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to engage key partners, driving long-term growth and revenue generation.
Event Marketing Support:
• Sponsor Engagement: Work with Corporate Development and Account Management teams to craft compelling proposals and strengthen sponsor relationships through data-driven marketing insights.
• Audience Segmentation & Donor Acquisition: Create detailed marketing plans to acquire new donors, grow event revenue, and raise awareness for key causes.
• Merchandise Support: Partner with event leadership to ensure merchandise aligns with overall event strategies and messaging.
• Event Committee Participation: Provide marketing expertise on event committees, offering insights on expectations, timelines, and best practices for successful execution.
Account Management & Corporate Development:
• Identify high-value partner campaigns and leverage marketing strategies to amplify their messages and drive growth.
• Partner with Donor Relations to develop stewardship strategies, creating impactful touchpoints and communication plans.
• Contribute to the creation of marketing toolkits for key fundraising initiatives.
• Collaborate with Corporate Development to design mutually beneficial marketing strategies for new and existing corporate partners, focusing on maximizing return on investment.
• Participate in the development of marketing resources that support corporate partners’ fundraising efforts.
Collaboration Across Teams:
• Work with other departments, such as Individual Giving and Foundation wide programs, to integrate stewardship efforts into broader marketing strategies.
• Provide digital marketing support for stewardship initiatives, ensuring consistency across platforms and messaging.
• Assist with donor journey planning and content development for frontline fundraisers.
• Align with MarCom Leadership: Partner with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure all corporate and event strategies are grounded in organizational priorities, align with brand standards and leverage shared resources for maximum impact.
• Optimize ROI Through Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership to assess resource availability and prioritize high-ROI initiatives, integrating data-driven insights to guide sponsorship and event marketing strategies.


Working in close collaboration with leadership, the Sr Specialist develops and implements all aspects of multiple programs that align with hospital’s mission and support the Foundation’s goals. Working independently, the Sr Specialist may be in charge of overseeing program/project execution that could include staffing, volunteers, budget and fundraising goals from start to finish. This position may also be responsible for special events that publicize the organization and its programs to the community. Position may have direct and/or indirect oversight of lower-level staff members and/or volunteers.

Position Duties

  1. Program Development: Provides leadership and/or oversight in the development of fully-fledged programs complete with policies, procedures and techniques.
  2. Staff Oversight: Responsible for training, assisting and collaborating with staff members who are involved in one or more programs. Indirect and/or direct supervision must facilitate communication, aid organization, coordinate objectives and ensure that standards are met.
  3. Allocate Resources: Allocates a specific amount of resources for each program while avoiding the depletion of resources as well as the degradation of quality.
  4. Manage Budgets: Creates and analyzes budgets for each program in order to minimize unnecessary expenditures, including complex budgetary planning and forecasting.
  5. Process Documentation: Manages the tracking of deliverables, monitoring progress and translating data towards future growth projections.
  6. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
