Position Summary
The Lead Sales Associate is responsible for overseeing the online store, daily operations of the gift shop, including managing inventory, merchandising products, and assisting customers. Additionally, this position trains and leads other Sales Associates and volunteers to ensure excellent customer service and achievement of sales goals.
Position Duties

Customer Service
- Greets customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing assistance in locating products and making recommendations based on their needs.
- Handles customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and efficient manner.
- Ensures that all customers have a positive shopping experience and leave satisfied with their purchases.

Team Work and Communication
- Collaborates with Sales Associates and volunteers to achieve sales goals and maintain a clean and organized store.
- Communicates effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that may arise.
- Provides feedback and support to team members to help them improve their sales techniques and customer service skills.

Merchandise and Floor Displays
- Creates visually appealing displays that showcase products and attract customers to make purchases.
- Monitors inventory levels and restocks products as needed to ensure a well-stocked and visually appealing store.
- Works with the store manager to plan and implement promotions and sales events to drive customer traffic and increase sales.

Train and Lead Sales Associates and Volunteers
- Trains new Sales Associates and volunteers on store policies, procedures, and product knowledge.
- Leads by example, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and sales techniques.
- Provides ongoing coaching and support to team members.

Online Store
- Works collaboratively with store manager to increase online sales.
- Adds all inventory to the online store.
- Supports fulfillment of all online orders.
- Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
