Position Summary

The Digital Services Analyst is responsible for all analytics platforms utilized by the Digital Services team and other areas within the Marketing and Communications department, including not only maintenance but selection and implementation, as needed. This is a cross functional role that will collaborate with other teams in Marketing and other areas/teams within Phoenix Children’s. The role will also collaborate with vendor partners to assist, as needed, with analytics related to digital marketing and media campaigns and performance. This is a data-driven role, and the ideal candidate will have an inquisitive nature and enjoy getting into the details to understand trends and consumer experience, identify key learnings and opportunities, communicate those findings/insights in a meaningful way, and then monitor the subsequent follow through and analysis of implemented recommendations. This role will help the Phoenix Children’s Marketing and Communications team deliver on key performance goals.

Position Duties

  1. Setting up and maintaining analytics platforms for website and marketing initiatives
    • a.Performs initial and continued reviews of analytics platforms to ensure Phoenix Children’s is maximizing tool sets across all channels.
    • b.Stays current and knowledgeable of data and analytics technologies. Works with internal departments and vendor partners to understand data governance best practices and standards.
    • c.Continuous monitoring of all analytics platforms to ensure data gathering, governance and best practices are maintained.
    • d.Assists in evaluating and recommending digital tools and products. Once selected, takes ownership of these tools to utilize across the Digital, Marketing, and Communications teams.
    • e.Creates and maintains necessary dashboards and/or reports, distributing in a timely manner, and respond to further inquiries.
    • f.As needed, assists with data mapping processes using internal systems/data to connect to the CMS.
  2. Measurement, recommendations, implementations, and testing of website(s), other channels, and marketing initiatives
    • a.Aggregates data from multiple channels to understand trends/themes and generates actionable insights that can be recommended for implementation and subsequent measurement and iteration.
    • b.Measures website usability/effectiveness and present insights and recommendations based on data results and best practices.
    • c.As needed, assists with measurement of media campaigns and determines optimal media spend and ROI for each marketing channel.
    • d.Determines if additional research tools are required, implements, and then utilizes them to improve site rankings and assists in making digital media campaigns more effective and efficient.
    • e.Leverages data to gain insights into trends and user experience and behavior, develops recommended strategies to support website traffic and calls to action, and assists with recommendations for digital marketing campaigns, as needed.
  3. Understand and communicate the consumer experience
    • a.Evaluates, from the consumer’s perspective, the experience of engaging with Phoenix Children’s across all touch points to identify improvement opportunities.
    • b.Demonstrates an understanding of and monitors the performance of consumer segments.
    • c.Make recommendations for testing variables/approaches within website or marketing channels based on consumer insights and experience.
  4. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
