Under the direction and supervision of the PCMG Chief Operating Officer (COO), this position provides strategic leadership and oversight for PCMG in the East and West Valley Markets ensuring ongoing successful operations and continued growth and development in the future. This position supports PCMG program operations and development; and integrates PCP, PCCN and PCMG related Hospital Practice with overall PCMG operations.

1. As a member of the Phoenix Children’s Medical Group Leadership team works to assure operational efficiency. This includes timely and consistent review of operations to assure assigned divisions are maximizing patient access, throughput and the highest quality of care for our patients and families.
2. Strategic Planning
   • Assists Phoenix Children’s Medical Group COO and PCMG Vice Presidents in partnership with PCH leadership to develop and implement PCMG Strategic Plan. This includes implementation of all strategic plans throughout assigned PCMG divisions to assure consistent and efficient operations.
   • In partnership with COO, PCMG Vice Presidents, and PCH leadership, develops and implements strategic plans and initiatives for PCMG in the East and West Valley Markets.
3. As a key member of the Phoenix Children`s Medical Group leadership team, this position provides key input and coordination with PCH Finance relative to their oversight of PCMG fiscal responsibility. This includes timely and consistent review of financial performance of PCMG and partnering with decision support and PCH Finance to assure ongoing strong financial performance of the medical group.
4. Facilities Management
   • Oversees the planning, design, and PCMG occupation of facilities in the East and West Valley.
   • Oversees the ongoing operations of PCMG facilities in the East and West Valley.
5. Community and Public Relations
   • Through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, assures that the PCH and PCMGs services in the East and West Valley Markets are consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders, including patients, physicians, employees, and benefactors.
   • As the face of PCMG in the East and West Valley Markets, the incumbent will be actively involved in the community through service organization membership, speaking engagements, community forums, educational offerings and other opportunities to communicate PCHs Mission.
6. Coordination of PCH activities in the Market
   • Ensures effective coordination of activities between PCMG, PCP, and PCCN providers in the East and West Valley Market.
7. Participates and supports East & West Valley in fundraising planning and implementation in collaboration with Foundation and PCMG leadership.
8. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
