Position Details
Position Summary
The Operations Supervisor oversees supply chain operations across multiple hospital campuses, including a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, two acute care facilities, and approximately 60 ambulatory clinics. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient receipt, storage, picking, staging, distribution, and reverse logistics of medical/surgical supplies, PPE, pharmaceuticals, durable and mobile equipment, and general materials. The Supervisor leads a large, multi-shift workforce and is accountable for receiving operations, asset lifecycle management, mobile equipment deployment and tracking, inventory accuracy, and achievement of defined service-level and performance targets within a highly regulated healthcare environment.
Position Duties

Supervises daily operations and staffing for all supply distribution activity. Monitor team productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching. Create and manage team schedules, organize workflow and ensure that team understands their duties or delegated tasks.

Demonstrates skills and abilities to provide leadership to the Central Supply/Warehouse staff in inventory management. Maximizes Lawson inventory management system use within the department. Act as back-up person to the Lawson System Administrator on all inventory control (IC) functions within Lawson. Works closely with Inventory coordinator to ensure supply availability.

Collects and compiles monthly statistical information. Prepares operational and statistical reports to identify areas of opportunity and to assist in decision making processes.

Helps create, implement and manage Supply Chain Management policy and procedures. Is aware of and adheres to all regulatory policies, requirements and guidelines.

Works closely and cooperatively with customers regarding special supply requests, supply problems, and other related needs and opportunities to ensure timely and appropriate resolution.

Works with Director and Manager to help develop and manage department operating budget

Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
