Position Summary

Posting Note: As an Applications Analyst, you will work with 11 Pediatric Clinics utilizing your IT skills to optimize INTERGY (Greenway Health) for our medical staff. You may be creating or revising workflows, provide training, troubleshoot issues by working effectively with our medical staff. You will have a wide range of latitude to create, design, improve, and implement based on the needs of our clinics. Your research skills, knowledge of medical terminology, ability to communicate effectively at all employee levels and previous experience providing training will be needed to succeed in this position. Schedule: M-F 8:00 - 5:00 ( after hours as needed based on business need) Location: Remote (an office-based from home) and flexibility required to visit our medical offices located in the metro area as business needs require. Requirements: Solid understanding of working with EMR's (INTERGY preferred), 3 or more years working with medical clinics/health care field where you have created or improved workflows, optimized an EMR system, and training experience to work with employees across the organization. Please see the rest of the requirements below. (Note: The position is remote however, you must reside in the metro area to respond to onsite issues and provide training as needed.)

The Applications Analyst - PCP is responsible for activities related to the design, configuration, testing, implementation, upgrades and support for clinic applications. Provides general analysis of applications and procedures across the Phoenix Children’s Pediatric locations. Analyze current workflow processes related to patients, clinicians and other practice staff with regards to documentation and transmission of clinical information. This individual is responsible for providing application support to the clinics while displaying outstanding customer service on the phone and in person.

Position Duties

  1. Consistently produces quality work product that is accurate, complete and detailed.
    • Works closely with PCP and hospital leadership to ensure end users are set up with the appropriate securities based on user scope of practice.
    • Performs basic design, configuration, testing, and implementation of clinical applications.
    • Works with the PCH IT team to address unresolved/open tickets
    • Troubleshoots, and corrects issues using the hospital ticketing system.
    • Prepares support documentation, test plans, specifications, basic workflows and task plans.
  2. Provides IT customer support.
    • Seeks to understand and address customer needs and expectations through effective communication and collaboration.
    • Works independently and shows initiative in resolving intermediate support issues and requests; escalates complex issues to more senior members of the team to ensure timely resolution.
    • Performs operational rounding to address immediate service needs.
    • Coordinates the operational role for low complexity projects and clinical content customization.
  3. EMR Training and Support.
    • Conducts professional training for staff members when required.
    • Assists with onboarding of new providers to create favorites and templates to ensure a smooth experience.
    • Develops and maintains educational and training material for clinical staff.
    • Documents all training sessions including but not limited to the user’s information.
    • Documents, maintains, and updates Users Guides.
    • Works with Practice Administrator and Clinic Manager to develop clinic workflows
    • Actively participates in EHR Monthly Provider Committee Meetings.
  4. Participates in developing and maintaining a knowledge base.
    • Identifies areas for team training, improved processes or better documentation.
    • Works in coordination with teammates and leadership to develop and maintain processes and documentation.
  5. Manages assets appropriately.
    • Maintains a neat and organized workspace to prevent loss of items.
    • Makes sure additional materials are ordered when supplies begin to run low.
    • Assists with research and quotes of non-standard purchase requests from leadership.
    • Assists with the procurement process for all IT hardware.
    • Ensures that inventory is managed routinely and consistently.
    • Raises concerns regarding aging assets which should be rotated out of the environment.
  6. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
