The Leave of Absence Coordinator is responsible for supporting all employee leave of absence matters to include Short Term Disability, FMLA, and ADA accommodations in accordance with company policies and state and federal leave regulations. The Leave of Absence Coordinator will be responsible for Kronos data entry relating to the aforementioned leaves. Provides consultative support for staff and management on leave of absence related issues

Position Duties

  1. Coordinates support for all employee leave of absence matters to include short-term disability, FMLA, and ADA leaves. Provides guidance to employees, management, Occupational Health, and HR partners on all forms of leave of absence cases including answering questions over the phone, email or in person
  2. Serves as a super user/subject matter expert (SME) for Kronos Absence and Leave system. Updates and maintains accurate leave tracking in Kronos and works with employees and managers to ensure proper timekeeping
  3. Coordinates with third party administrator to manage all cases/claims to including general administration, comprehensive case management and program compliance with STD and FMLA and all related employment laws and organizational policies. Validates employee hours regarding leave eligibility and coordinates all aspects of employees' return- to- work in partnership with the internal Occupational Health team
  4. Creates reporting metrics and analytics related to employee leave and leave management data.
  5. Assists in the creation and facilitation of leave of absence training programs
  6. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
