Position Summary

Posting Note: Mon-Fri Days 7:30a-4:30p

This position acts as the front line of support to internal and external customers contacting the Human Resources department for information and assistance. Answers telephones and initiates HR related documentation, greets visitors to the department when deployed to the departments reception area, and maintains and updates information in the HRIS system.

Position Duties

  1. Customer Service
    • Answers and responds to inquiries and requests from internal and external customers and
    • initiates paperwork to assist customers; member of the HR Services Team.
    • Performs front-desk/receptionist duties for the Human Resources Department which includes
    • greeting, assisting and directing employees and visitors.
  2. Administrative Support
    • Provides a variety of diversified administrative support to the department to support efficient
    • and effective operation.
    • Updates shared database of mandatory personnel qualifications to ensure employee
    • qualifications / credentials are compliant.
    • Assists with the on-boarding process of new hires, which may include employment verifications and providing hospital orientation information.
    • Codes and tracks requests for payments to ensure proper accounting of funds in accordance
    • with budget; maintains inventory levels of standard office supplies and materials, initiating
    • requests as appropriate.
    • Assists in the maintenance of confidential HR files and records to ensure consistently current
    • and accurate documentation.
    • Enters and maintains employee data and status changes within the HRIS system.
  3. Trip Reduction Program Coordinator
    • Facilitates PCH Trip Reduction Program in accordance with Maricopa County clean air initiative.
    • Conducts annual employee travel reduction surveys in attempt to continually improve PCH'S
    • TRP program.
  4. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
