Position Summary

Position Duties

  1. Develops and manages a formal process for the entire grant life cycle including solicitation preparation and submission, award processing and reporting and technical support.
  2. Manages production and assignment schedule and progress for public and private foundations, corporate foundations, and government opportunities for philanthropic support. Provides technical submission support and accuracy. Develops and implements reporting procedure to benefit all directors in optimal efficiency, and identifying areas or issues that may negatively impact funding opportunities. Tracks all schedules and deadlines; communicates proactively
  3. Manages the Foundation’s and Hospital’s required pre- and post-award systems required for related solicitations including Raiser’s Edge data entry, reconciliation and reporting, as well as the Project Tracking System.
  4. Provides contract management and compliance efforts to ensure the implementation of awarded proposals; confirms compliance requirements are met. Ensures accurate, timely, efficient and transparent process for the entire proposal life cycle (pre- and post-award), and reports outcome measurements and expense accounting to the donor. Develops and implements all necessary policies and procedures for fundraising staff, as well as notifying appropriate parties of compliance concerns.
  5. Provides management, guidance and training to other staff as it relates to solicitation requirements, technical requests, contract management, compliance, and related Hospital policies. Provides technical and management services for directors, grant coordinators, and fundraisers to support focus on revenue generation.
  6. Performs research on available grants.
  7. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
