Position Summary

Posting Note: The Located in Phoenix, Arizona, Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI) at Phoenix Children’s Hospital (at PCH) is seeking a full-time, fluent Spanish-speaking pediatric neuropsychologist, with experience assessing individuals with CNS disorders, to join the current staff of 5 clinical pediatric neuropsychologist practitioners. The service focuses on the neuropsychological assessment of children with complex health issues, acquired injuries, and those undergoing treatment that impact central nervous system functioning. The clinical work is primarily outpatient, but will also include inpatient and team consultation. Neuropsychology referrals come from various providers from disciplines such as neurology, neurosurgery, hematology/oncology, developmental pediatrics, general pediatrics, transplant services, etc. This exciting position will include the evaluation and assessment of pediatric patients with medical, developmental, psychiatric, and chronic conditions associated with a multitude of disorders and because of the size of our group, allows for focus on special interest and sub-specialization.

The Staff Psychologist shall provide patient care services and will support the PCH mission of providing hope, healing and the best health care for children and their families.
