We are seeking a high-performing and team-oriented marketing operations coordinator to join the growing Marketing and Communications Team within the Phoenix Children’s Foundation. The coordinator’s role will primarily consist of coordinating marketing operations across the team to ensure processes, contributors and tools are effectively working together to deliver high-quality deliverables. Other responsibilities include supporting aspects of various strategic marketing and communications plans for numerous campaigns and events, handling the team’s billing and invoicing needs, and additional administrative tasks. The coordinator will work collaboratively with colleagues, as part of a creative and strategically driven team, and in close connectivity with the health system’s staff for the development of content and tools to improve our effectiveness internally and within the market. Being able to successfully manage relationships, stay highly organized, and navigate competing priorities in a high-volume environment will be essential.

The Sr Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to assist with managing relationships, partnerships, programs, events and campaigns that result in growing annual revenue for the Foundation. The Sr Coordinator collaborates with colleagues throughout the Foundation and/or hospital to help deliver first-class programs, events, recognition, and service to internal and external donors. The Sr Coordinator will take a lead role on project/program execution.

Position Duties

  1. Takes on a lead role with tasks related to events and project management; communications; donor engagement and stewardship. May be assigned some oversight of revenue and non-revenue items as well as financial reporting duties.
  2. Provides hands-on assistance with fundraising tactics, timely and meaningful donor recognition, and communications. Schedules meetings, volunteers, and tours, and tracks donations.
  3. Collaborates with Foundation colleagues to develop fundraising plans, proposals, prospect cultivation, recognition collateral, promotional materials and reporting to engage and increase interest in philanthropy and sponsorship from individuals and businesses.
  4. Keeps updated calendar of events, merchandise, supplies, contact information in database, tracking reports for campaign and event revenue and expenses.
  5. Helps cultivate key relationships with existing and prospective supporters.
  6. Provides direction and oversight for projects to support staff.
  7. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
