Position Summary

Position Duties

  1. RVU Development
    • Meets with department managers to develop appropriate RVUs and to maintain existing RVU values for the most accurate costing possible
  2. Monthly Loading
    • Ensures the monthly loading and auditing of General Ledger Cost into the Cost Accounting System to produce reports, and audit the results. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations as appropriate.
  3. Reporting
    • Prepares financial costing reports to prepare recommendations to assist management with implementing improved measurements and controls.
  4. System Integrity
    • Adheres to the CDM process to make sure newly implemented charges are handled in the costing system appropriate to their utilization.
  5. Prepares a variety of studies, reports and analyses
    • Prepares a variety of studies, reports, and analyses including, but not limited to, RVU valuation, product line costing comparison impacts and cost variance reports
  6. Gather Industry Trending
    • Works closely with management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations of industry trends in costing and proposed implementation of those methodologies.
  7. Budget Support
    • Actively participates in annual budget process by preparing and maintaining a variety of databases and backup sources
  8. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
