Position Summary

Position Duties

  1. Integrated Marketing Planning & Measurement
    • Develop fully integrated marketing plans for campaigns and events with defined, measurable goals.
    • Create marketing assets directly (both as the creator of the work or engaging internal resources) or outsource and manage external contractors or agencies.
    • Provide performance metrics; analyze data to determine efficiency and effectiveness of work.
    • Knowledge of concepts, principles, and procedures of communications theory and practice; branding and marketing; social media strategy.
  2. Content Creation and Management
    • Proficient written, editing, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with extraordinary attention to detail.
    • Oversee copy and art direction for print collateral of events, programs, and initiatives, including invitations, signage, programs, sponsor decks, partner packets and more.
    • Ensure all marketing assets and messaging is consistent with the Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation brand.
    • Generate press releases and other written materials.
  3. Collaborative Project Management
    • Support the teams in pre- and post- event planning and strategies; assist in promotion before and following the event, as well as novel ways to fundraising before, during and after the event.
    • Work cohesively with the Marketing & Communications team to utilize existing marketing assets, and to develop or outsource new assets and when needed engage outside agencies.
    • Work directly with Digital team with website content, e-newsletters, and other digital collateral and messaging related to events, campaigns and initiatives.
    • Manage media, social media, videographers and photographers at events.
    • Ensure that partner communication and promotional deliverables are met.
  4. Manage Multiple Projects
    • Ability to adjust to unforeseen situations and be flexible with unexpected projects, assignments and deadlines.
    • Ability to multitasking, prioritize, manage, and execute projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
    • Other duties or special projects as assigned by management
  5. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
